Conel Centre
Zone 3 London
The college is close to Seven Sisters train station
and a 15-minute walk or 5-minute tube ride
from our single en-suite accommodation Emily
Bowes centre, which sits in the heart of
Tottenham Hale village next door to Tottenham
Hale station.
The Neighbourhood
Adjacent to Tottenham Hale station, the area offers excellent transport connections into the centre of London. In Tottenham, students can experience a taste of the real London. The High Street is full of life and is experiencing a wonderful regeneration. However, just a short distance away students can find themselves in the tranquil oasis of
Tottenham Marshes.

The Accommodation
Emily Bowes provides top quality, single en-suite accommodation. Rooms are arranged around
communal kitchens to which the students have access. The centre has good shared spaces with games and entertainment and also benefits from large and secure outdoor spaces in which students can relax and enjoy the sunshine.

The Food
Breakfast is served on site in the shared kitchens. Lunch and dinner are provided in the Bernie Grant Arts Centre restaurant located nearby. The meals are a mixture of modern British food and international cuisine. Full board accommodation is offered as standard. As always Language in Action caters for any allergies and we will endeavour to tailor the menu to take student’s tastes into consideration.
The Activities
The Language in Action activity programme is focused on London. Students will have the chance to explore everything this wonderful
city has to offer and will also have time to get to know the local area.

The School
Lessons take place at nearby Conel College. Language in Action teachers are TEFL trained and receive special training geared towards short term summer programmes. Course focus can be adjusted to students’ requirements but our carefully developed teaching programme is
